Charitable Organizations Respond Amidst Global Conflict in Myanmar
A United Nations report was released on Monday detailing that Myanmar’s top military generals, including Commander-in-Chief Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing must be investigated and prosecuted for genocide in the north of Rakhine State, as well as for crimes against humanity and war crimes in Rakhine, Kachin and Shan States. Just how bad is it?
“Military necessity would never justify killing indiscriminately, gang raping women, assaulting children, and burning entire villages. The Tatmadaw’s tactics are consistently and grossly disproportionate to actual security threats, especially in Rakhine State, but also in Northern Myanmar.”
In Bangladesh, where nearly 1 million Rohingya have fled it is estimated that up to 95% have no access to clean water and over 400,000+ require medical care. Many leading U.S. charitable organizations are active and providing care including Save The Children, UNICEF, International Rescue Committee and Doctors Without Borders. One-tap donate to any these charitable organizations in the Givz TRENDING section.
On a lighter note, one of our favorite, inspirational reads from the week comes from NBA Star Joel Embiid via The Players Tribune. May we all Trust the Process.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!
