CNN AND MR. GREENWALD LYING ABOUT BRAZILIAN POLITICAL CRISIS

The American journalist Glenn Greenwald is using his reputed journalistic name to support Dilma Rousseff and portray her as “squeaky clean” and innocent of any wrong doing in the biggest corruption scandal concerning the state oil company Petrobras. Also implying that she is a victim of a coup.

During an interview for CNN Greenwald said the “coup” is a plan by the opposition to close the investigations, in order to save opposing politicians . Suggestion the Federal Police will be subjugated by a new presidency. He also said Dilma Rousseff allowed the Police to investigate without any government interference. That is not the truth.

Recently former president Luis Inacio Lula da Silva had his phone legally intercepted by Federal Police. The judge Sergio Moro revealed to the public, via television, the telephone recordings, proving that the ex president was forcing political interference to stop the investigations. Lula da Silva was putting the Justice Minister Eduardo Cardozo under pressure (both belongs to the Workers party).

Lula is also under investigation of financially benefiting from the bribery scandal regarding the Petrobras State Oil company. According to recent investigations, Dilma Rousseff, a former Minister and ex. Petrobras President on the board of administrators has been deeply connected to the bribery scandal. These investigations claim an illegal shift of money to aid Rousseff´s election campaign in 2010 and her Reelection in 2014. The ammount of money allegdly shifted is aroun 100 million dolars. Besides these accusations, Rousseff is also under indictment of a Hydropower overpricing to the tune of around 15 million dollars. These allegations are comming from whistleblowers, who were arrested by Police and sentenced by Judge Moro.

Finally Greenwald´s accusations concerning the oppositions plans to save the House Speaker, Eduardo Cunha, who is being prosecuted by the Justice Dpt, his prosecution is soon to be judged in the Supreme Court and the fact the Vice President may become the next president is not going to help Eduardo Cunha from a sentence. Roussef’s removal doesn’t prevent the House Speaker, or any politician involved in the bribery scandal from being judged.

Mr. Greenwald is known for publishing the secret files from the US NSA without judicial authorisation, whilst at THE GUARDIAN newspaper. It’s the emblematic Snowden case, that made Snowden an international fugitive living under Vladimir Putins protection. Greenwald is a leftist activist who is defending corrupt South America governments, such as the Venezuelan regime, who are responsible for killing opposers in 2014. Arresting many people without legal warrants, imposing censorship an closing private television stations.
