🧊 Glacier Network is dedicated to propelling the technical world in that direction. Glacier is building a modular, dynamic and scalable NoSQL database powered by ZK-Rollup. It is a zk-rollup network with the GlacierDB at its core that empowers building decentralized applications (DApp) on decentralized databases (DDB) as well as provides programmable data composability solutions to easily and effortlessly handle data with GlacierDB.
The successful launch of the Glacier Testnet and Glacier SDK (Software Development Kit) marks a significant step towards accelerating large-scale on-chain data adoption and empowering Dapps to build on decentralized databases.
Glacier provides Web3 users with a tool for storing data in a truly decentralized way and also allows users to monetize it. And to do so, we implement an Economic Incentive Mechanism powered by $GLC, the utility token of Glacier protocol, so that more people are willing to participate in the construction of the Glacier Network and the next data economy.

You’re invited to join us and become an early contributor! To show our appreciation for your support, we are now launching the Glacier Testnet Engagement Program, where your time, effort, and insightful feedback will be fairly rewarded.
The databases under Glacier Network represent an immutable shared history. Our reward program comes with the theme — Create your First Immutable Dataset. We encourage you to experience the journey of programmable data composability personally, and this begins with creating your first decentralized database on Glacier Testnet.
🏆 $GLC Rewards
This is a straightforward and rewarding system in that any eligible user can receive a reward of 10 $GLC. With our reward program, you will be able to claim your $GLC reward by simply creating your own decentralized database.
📌 How To Participate?
To become an eligible user, you need to:
- Head to Glacier Network.
- Establish your own decentralized database by creating Namespace / Dataset / Collection.
- Insert at least 2 documents (rows) into one collection, which will be your first immutable notes.
- Click the button and share to twitter.
- Complete simple tasks to fulfill the Eligibility Test.
Rules:
- The program is applied for any new user 🕙 March 28th-June 30th, 2023
- To make it easier, we kindly suggest that you name your Collection however you want.
- Don’t leave blanks in your documents, and the documents should not be meaningless words.
- Kindly remind you to pay attention to your privacy since the data is transparent on-chain at the moment.
- The $GLC tokens used in programs are subject to the vesting schedule.
- And Glacier team reserves all rights associated with this program.

📖 How To Create Your First Immutable Dataset?
- Head to Glacier Network and click “Launch App”
2. Create Namespace: Click “Create Namespace” and name your space. The Namespace is the first-level unit in Glacier.
3. Create Dataset: Click the “ellipses button” to create a Dataset.The Dataset is the secondary unit in Glacier.
4. Create Collection: The collection is the third-level unit in Glacier. A collection is like a table, and you need to name and customize the Collection first. To make it easier for you, when customizing the Fields of the Collection, you can follow the setup below in the screenshot.
5. Insert at least 2 documents (rows) into the collection.
6. Click the button and share to twitter.
7. Complete a few simple tasks to fulfill the Eligibility Test.
