I have yet to experience this pain. I have 2 furkids and I know it is going to be so SO hard. Thank you so much for writing this. Although I have heartbreaks to look forward too, these kinds of reminders help me not take my furkids for granted and enjoy them even more. It’s a blessing that we have the ability to love other species as a mother would love a human child. It’s pretty amazing actually. I am just thankful that I am able to give them a loving home etc.
