Bi-weekly update: 13 July 2018
Welcome to our regular bi-weekly update. This week’s update will be short and sweet.
Patent Update: As you know, GATCOIN was the first to invent targeted airdrops of crypto-currencies (and other distributed ledger data) by geo-location. To protect our IP we filed both a provisional application with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on 27 September 2017, and a PCT international patent application on 29 September 2017 with the Patent Office of the People’s Republic of China (SIPO).
We are very pleased to announce that following our PCT application, we have now received a favourable Written Opinion from the International Searching Authority confirming the novelty, inventiveness and industrial application of our technology. This now paves the way for us to immediately apply for formal patent approval in certain countries (on the basis of the favourable Written Opinion), and to fast-track our patent application in other countries.
A favourable Written Opinion is generally considered highly positive news in the patent application process. We will keep you posted of any further developments.
Dev Progress. The team has been making great progress on the App. Not too much to report here, other than we’re hard at work, on schedule, and very pleased with how things are progressing.
That’s all for this update. Please stay tuned for our next update in a couple of weeks.
