Why On Earth Does Jesus Care About My Horribly Matted Hair
There is no peace for anyone with very tangled matted hair. It not only depresses, frustrates, saddens and destroys the life of the head that owns the hair; but the lives of the family /friends associated to the head. Luke 24:36–37 — Amplified Bible 36 While they were talking about this, Jesus Himself [suddenly] stood among them and said to them, “Peace be to you.” 37 But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a spirit.
God has put a special light in all of us that needs to shine. When your hair is matted your shine is so dim. There is a darkness around anyone with very matted tangled knotty hair. They feel ugly and brokenhearted about their hair. Many people feel guilty about the whole situation. Tangled Matted hair is like chains of bondage on you head. Well the Bible tells you how Jesus was sent as a light of life to heal the brokenhearted and free us from bondage. John 14:27 -Amplified Bible 27 Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
Detangling very matted tangled hair is such a strange type of work. The detangle process can easily deceive, dishearten, defeat or discourage your hope of tangle free hair. It doesn’t make sense how or why the hair can intertwine to create webs of layers of deep matrices of matted knots. There are many jobs in the world that are so strange-it’s amazing that our brains can’t even make sense of it. In fact the bible says that God does strange work. Isaiah 28:21.

Depression does damage to the health, hair, body and spirit Everyone knows that people with matted tangled knots in their hair are not very joyful. Matted tangled hair gives you no peace day or night. During the day it’s like caring a stone on your head. At night its like sleeping on a painful hard rock. It is so very depressing and frustrating. People just do not seem to understand-they just want you to cut all your hair off!
More individuals are praying to save their severely tangled matted hair instead of shaving it off. We have prayers for weight loss, so why not tangled hair. Why is it considered vain to Pray for Help With tangled Hair? I mean, is there anything wrong with asking for a little help to deal with the pain of tangled, matted hair? Philippians 4:6–7- Amplified Bible 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
Everyone knows that people with matted tangled knots in their hair are not very joyful. In fact they are cranky all the time-trying to be happy. How can you be full of joy with hard knots pressing on your scalp day and night or matted clumps staring at you in the mirror? Jesus wants you to have joy. Well the Bible tells you how Jesus wants you to have Joy. John 15:10–12 — Amplified Bible 10 If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11 I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing. Why should you not pray about preserving, saving or protecting your hair. We pray about other things. Who says one thing has more value than another in Gods ears? Is there a hierarchy of things to pray about or for?
Even Samson prayed for strength one last time after his mistake. Our hair has an important function to our body, it’s a part and member of our body. One hair strand can speak volumes about the health of the body. Hair is not just for external beauty. In fact hair samples do not deteriorate, it is widely used as a proven method in the medical and sports profession for testing. Hair samples are fast efficient and leads to more accurate results. Romans 12:4 states that “ For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function So why would it be in vain to pray.
What does God have to do with my hair. There is a whole section of the bible surrounding strength in hair. God made a vow about hair. Judges13–16. Samson had physical power in him-his hair was his secret. There are many women in the world within long beautiful hair who might not admit it openly, but their hair is a quite secret to their beauty. Its apart of their power of self. People both admire and envy their hair. It adds to self esteem/identity-which affects our strength and self worth indirectly. The Bible notes in Judges 16:1,22 that the hair grows back again. Everybody has joy when they receive a healing solution for anything in life.
If You Are Connected To Your Matted Hair- DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR! Hair is like an external antenna. It has nerve endings, so you feel even the slightest pull, bit of heat/cold or even a little air blowing on your scalp. Most of us are connected to our hair in many ways that we are not even aware of. It’s a powerful symbol of our beauty that plays a major part in our self esteem and self worth. That is why depression is so easy to set in and become worse- when ones hair becomes severely matted.
Hair, one of the most prized possessions of a human being is also the most vulnerable as it needs constant maintenance and care. But, those who face rather desperate times don’t necessarily keep up with their hair needs and this becomes a major problem. Tangled matted hair can not only cause a lot of pain and discomfort but, this can also affect how a person feels about himself or herself. It is not all that bad because there are professional hair restoration services that can help a person get back the confidence they once had. Anyone who is frustrated enough with tangled hair to say a prayer must have tried conventional detangling methods, there are however other ways to detangle your hair and keep it (because if you are struggling to detangle it, that means cutting the hair is not in the books). God gives us wisdom for everything if you ask. You can request for assistance in prayer always. Why else would God give wisdom for life’s serious situations to be resolved. Ephesians 1:17- Amplified Bible 17 [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son].
Despite your heartbreaking hair situation- God wants you to be well and have peace. Strive to have peace and wellness. Matted tangled hair gives you no peace day or night.
