How to Get F-1 US Student Visa

When you would like to come to study in the United States where do you start of course you start with finding a college or institution that will accept you for studies. We would classify all those institutions in two big categories, one that provides English in which courses and one that provides everything else meaning that you can come to the United States to study just English and improve your English or you can come and apply for a college degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, advanced degree depending on your situation.

Sometimes actually is going to be both first you’re going to enroll in English studying courses and then then you’re going to proceed to advance your education. So first thing first would be to apply to contact the admissions office and find out if they accept international students what the tuition is going to be because tuition is a very important question. IF you cannot afford it you will not be able to maintain your status in the United States. Then you need to submit an application next step would be to obtain the I-20 (form).

The I-20 Form is a forum that will allow you to file through your F-1 US Student Visa and basically, it registers you as a student in the United States. It specifies how much money you need to have to be able to stay in the United States.

It’s very important now let’s say you passed your interview and you got your visa of course the interview will be the most important step here. You email the documents confirming your intentions and confirming your ability to pay for yourself or sponsor’s ability to pay for your studies and very importantly that you will return home upon the conclusion of the studies back to the United States.

Email all those documents ahead of your interview because the interview may be very fast and you will not be able to present those documents that you have maybe very good documents during the interview all right so let’s say you pass the interview and you receive the visa another very important point.

You have to come to the United States on student visa within times allocated by law you cannot enter the United States whenever you want usually you are allowed to be admitted no earlier than thirty days prior to the start of your studies.

If you come in let’s say thirty-two days prior you will be sent back home potentially your reason may be canceled that’s very important and lastly of course remember that all these points about being able to pay for yourself about being able to show that you will you do have intentions of returning back home upon conclusion of your studies irrelevant at the time of your ignition at the border. So when you’re at the border and the officer is looking at your documents asking you why you here what your intentions are were you going to be staying make sure that you have the documents available in your bank inquire in case the officer will question your ability to comply with its status which you requested and say are important because the visa is not everything you a person who holds the relevant visa may still be denied admission if he or she is found inadmissible at the board.
