Welcoming an important advocate to Globality’s Board
Dennis Nally, former Global Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers, will help Globality further its mission to make globalization work.
Globality is thrilled to announce that Dennis Nally, former Global Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers, has joined its board of directors.
Dennis has extensive experience serving large multinational clients in a variety of industries, principally focusing on technology and life sciences, and is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the professional services sector.
“Having worked with many of the largest and most respected global companies, I experienced their strong desire to support globalization,” he said. “I am a firm believer in Globality’s mission to build a new ecosystem for cross-border trade and create an era of micro-multinationals.”
Currently in beta, Globality was founded to make globalization work. We will enable best-in-class small and midsize service providers in key industries to participate in the global economy. Globality was co-founded in March 2015 by Joel Hyatt and Lior Delgo and is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.
Dennis is a tremendous addition to our board. Not only has he worked at the highest level on issues affecting the professional services industry and global capital markets, but he has also worked directly with multinational companies that can help drive the benefits of globalization deeper into the economy. And few people know as much as Dennis about the delivery of premium business services on a global basis.
Having recently retired from PwC, Dennis is joining an existing board that we’re incredibly proud of. His colleagues are Juliet de Baubigny, senior partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; Mark Hurd, CEO of Oracle; Mark Vorsatz, Managing Director and CEO of Andersen Tax; Ron Johnson, CEO of Enjoy and former Apple retail executive; John Joyce, Vice Chairman and CFO of Kony and former CFO of IBM; and our two co-founders. (Our investors include Al Gore, former Vice President; Michael Marks, Managing Partner of Riverwood Capital and former CEO of Flextronics; and Ken Goldman, CFO of Yahoo.)
Dennis joined PwC in 1975, became a partner in 1985 and held a number of senior leadership positions during his tenure. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer — notably at the World Economic Forum, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the CEO Summit and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, among other places. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society CPAs. He is also a member of the Duke Kunshan University Advisory Board, the Carnegie Hall Society Board of Trustees and the Business Roundtable. He also serves as Vice Chair of the U.S. Council for International Business and Vice Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce.
