Who are we?

Globcoin.io are a team brought together approximately one year ago, the heart of the operation is the team behind the successful Globcoin card. The Globcoin card has been running for nearly 2 years: it’s a multi-currency Mastercard available in Europe.

With Felix Velay and Gaspard d’Hautefeuille leading the dev side; and Helie d’Hautefort as the CEO. This core of 3 have built out the team, ready to launch a larger product to the market: the Globcoin Crypto Platform. They have carefully assembled a team of experts around the hub, from the worlds of investment banking and financial innovation, adding a healthy balance of accredited experts in Blockchain.

The team is global and comprises 15 core members, with other specialists involved. All core team members have either worked together on the Globcoin card; or have worked together previously. This gives us good stability and makes teamwork easy. We have then added a small team of advisors, just to guide us through the ICO part, for example William Mougayar has been involved with us from the start, bringing clear Blockchain analysis to our project; and Giuseppe Ballocchi has added academic thinking and risk management from his role as a Board member at the CFA.

We have spent most time working on the GCP platform — making sure it fulfills a wide variety of possible needs, and making sure it’s secure and robust. We’ve checked it at every stage with a group representing our future core customers, taken on board their feedback, and improved the offering as it’s developed. Now, that part of the journey has finished, the product is ready to launch. We’re all ready as a team to deliver this to you.
