An overview of the Glück Games aggregation model

Glück Games, the Gibraltar and Berlin-based ‘casual-real money games’ developer, aggregator and technology provider, is taking aim at established iGaming aggregators.

In early February, just prior to a very successfull debut at ICE’17, Glück Games announced that its goal to release 100 games in 2017. That could arguably have been seen as an ambitious target for such a young company. However, with the recent announcements that the company is now working with other portfolio providers and also distributing 3rd party games, it is now looking like a safe bet.

A key factor in this is the company’s partnerships with external development studios and other aggregators. Glück Games’s CEO, Robert Lenzhofer, explains:

“Our goal is to do for the lotto sector, what the likes of NYX, Quickfire and EveryMatrix do for online casino games. We already have one of the largest portfolios of interactive scratchcards, instant win and instant lotto games in the market. We’ve recently signed a partnership with London-based Gamevy to distribute each other’s games and, in the next few weeks, we will be announcing a series of partnerships with terrific 3rd party studios.”

According to Lenzhofer, the advantages of partnering with Glück Games are two-fold:

[1] It delivers wide audience reach to studios.
[2] It delivers a large and diverse range of content for operators through a single integration with Glück Games.

Glück Games are able to aggregate iGaming content via their GDK and through undertaking ‘RGS to RGS’ integrations with other providers.

GDK — Game Development Kit
This enables partners who do not have a full hardware and licensing infrastructure to make use of our Game Development Kit (GDK). Glück Games develops the game engine and takes care of the RNG, certification and other topcis, while the game developer focuses on the concept, the artwork and generally the frontend development.

RGS-to-RGS Integration
For game development partners who already have an RGS, we execute a simple RGS-to-RGS integration where we relay the communication to the operator. Thus, with a single integration our operators get access to all of the games offered on our partner’s RGS. Our most recent example is through our partnership with London-based Gamevy.

We have a rapidly growing range of operator partners across Europe and, soon, other regions,” said Lenzhofer. “This is leading to a rapidly-growing player audience reach. Partnering with us opens those audiences up for 3rd party studios. We have already had great results with Inchinn, Robots and Lasers, Sideplay Games and Lotto Interactive.
