DESIGN IN FINNISH INNOVATION POLICY

Being born in Russia I can’t fully comprehend the fact that some countries actually support innovation as a whole and design in particular on a state level. The most important thing for me was that both terms are really understood as they are in modern world and treated as very significant areas. That is an enormous step ahead comparing to my country, where innovations are mostly accidents, design is understood as matching your curtains to a sofa, UI UX design-things you should put on your company’s website, since US and Europe does it, but you aren’t completely sure what they mean…
