IDEOLOGICAL TURNS IN FINNISH DESIGN

This lecture showed us how nationalism in design terms changed to modernism. Just recently we discussed with other students if finnish design has this national identity, or if any country does. Now we know when this phenomena occurred, when design lost its national idea. I still like this globalization vibe, despite in many countries firstly your work must be approved internationally to be fully approved in your home country.

This lecture didn’t give me a lot of insights since it was a repetition of the book again.
