Public Screens for Radio Stations and Music Performance

Transit Screen is software that any business can put on an inexpensive computer to let their patrons see the next available bus. This is perfect for a coffee shop, microbrewery, or basically anywhere near a transit line where people might want to shed a few minutes of their wait.

Perhaps this model could be applied to community radio stations or performance institutions. A wine store that underwrites radio could have a screen that dynamically shows current programs and upcoming events. A physicians office who supports a performance group could display their upcoming concerts and other season highlights. This could all be done with a $25 raspberry pi, an $80 monitor, and a mount.
