Eat Something. Read Something. Do Something.
Three Simple Steps..

Some of the most important things for me these days is a sense of freedom, fulfilment and progression. Anything I do, I want to be recognised for my effort, I want to see where the path leads me and feel free while I’m on the journey of self-development. But for that to happen I stick by a simple triplet that anybody can adopt. Funnily enough, these are things I’ve been doing but I’ve only given the activity a name
It’s simply this..
- Eat Something
- Read Something
- Do Something
Dead simple, right?
Let me elaborate on these three points with my experiences
Eat Something..
Feed yourself, bruh and make sure you treat yourself to goodness as much as you can, bruh..
And this isn’t about me telling you stop eating meat or only eat this or that, it’s about you learning what your body needs and keeping it happy in the long-run. There’s links to food and mental health for you to research and I recommend everyone learns what is it their body could do more of. For me, I could do without meat because of the bad lingering and weighty feeling I got from it and I can do with more breakfast as I never used to have it for so many years. What is it that makes you feel good or allows you to perform better? Even if it’s just drinking more water to feel cleaner and clearer. Allow yourself that feeling of goodness so you can function positively.
Read Something..
Now this can be altered to anything else that best suits your learning style but I’ll use the term read for now.
Find something you’re interested in and learn more about it. Grab books. Watch and follow YouTube channels. Listen to podcasts. Broaden your mind and do it regularly. Research the people you tune into and see what they’re about. If you’re entrepreneurial, follow people like Tai Lopez and Gary Vaynerchuk, or check out this amazing YouTube series by photographer Chase Jarvis. Or watch the people you want to be like, preferably outside.. e.g. if you want to learn how to skate, hit up a skate park or people on social media and just watch them do their thing or ask them anything for them to help you. Seek inspiration IRL and URL. There’s plenty of things to discover and use as inspiration for your content so use them however you want.
It’s all about lessons really adnd we get better as we learn and apply those lessons into existence.
Do Something..
For many people, there just isn’t enough time to do anything. For me, it’s important that I have enough time and I make sure I do this by only working 4 days a week with enough space for overtime when I don’t have anything planned for me or if there day’s weather is going to be terrible. My days off consists of leaving the house and staying away from there and giving myself fresh air but also actively practicing something. Whether it be skating around or improving krump basics or shooting or collaborating with others. And it doesn’t have to lead to a career, it just has to lead to a sense of fulfilment, productivity and self-development. Be sure to give yourself enough time to rest. Don’t put your body through overdrive or lose sleep over it. You need to give yourself time to rest also. Have some sort of routine and structure in place and things will work out better for you in the long-run.
