Good morning ‘gm’ community! We’re excited to bring you a mighty anticipated project update this Good Friday and Easter long weekend!
First, as you may have seen, we have been hosting community Poker tournaments, to engage community members and others from outside of the community. We will continue to host tournaments and we are looking into hosting different games (if you have requests please let our mods in Telegram know).
Next, we are going to be having an ERC20 token swap. This will consist of a brand new $gm token contract!
Why are we doing this?
- Fewer issues that we encountered with the previous contract on ETH such as large contract sells
- Modifiable contract — can increase or decrease taxes as needed
- Can retrieve tokens if they are sent to the contract accidentally
- As the market is showing signs of more life, this is a great opportunity to allow community members to swap their tokens effortlessly to an upgraded custom contract.
How and when can I swap my tokens?
- We have integrated a simple token swap into our new website, which we will have up shortly before the new contract is live.
- Instructions will be provided in the Telegram to assist you, but we promise it will be as simple as we can make it!
- We are arranging a time with the developer who wrote the contract to assist the team in deploying the new ETH contract to ensure no mistakes are made; this will be in the next few days, a day will be solidified and pinned in the $gm telegram and posted to our Twitter as a reminder.
Next, we have hired additional help to grow and develop $gm further. We have brought on a development project manager, Matt, who is in charge of our development team.
The development team is outsourced from a legitimate organization that will be dedicated to specifically building products for gm. We are beginning with building a DAPP for gm which can be used by the community and those outside of the community.
Our aim is to build innovative products and contribute to the space. We are first focusing our DAPP on a niche area Charity and NFTs. Our DAPP will be accessible in the Apple Store, Android Store, and on PC. More will be released on the details of this product soon with teasers of what to expect.
Going forward, we will continue to work with this team if the community is satisfied with the products they deliver. We have already discussed other products that they are able to build for us which could be beneficial to the gm community and the rest of the Web3 space.
