Had a ride today . Only comfort cab was available . I hailed the one near me and got a call almost 10 minutes later. Waited for another 10 minutes before I got the following text message from the driver “Wow nakam bahati mbaya ndio najivaa. Dakika kidogo tu.” Needless to say I didn’t respond. I cancelled the ride and tried to hail another cab which arrived 10 minutes later.

The car was clean, the driver well dressed and affable. The thing I liked most was the lack of price surge. While uber was charging 600-750 to my destination , I ended up paying 430 using little cab.

Some of the improvements I would wish to see:

• Real time tracking of driver on the app from the time he is hailed to the time he arrives to pick the client
• Immediate contact from driver once he accepts the request to pick up the client
• Seriousness from some drivers like the first one that I hailed
