Gobi Partners China recognised on Forbes China and China Renaissance People of the Year lists
On December 30th, 2019, Forbes China published the “Top 100 Venture Capitalists” list. Michael Zhu, Managing Partner at Gobi Partners China, was recognised for the award for two consecutive years.
The “Forbes China Top Venture Capitalists List” has been in place for over a decade, and aims to recognise China’s most visionary investors who have built leading portfolios with exceptional returns. This year, Forbes China went through a consistent selection process based on the same principles to determine the “Top Venture Capitalists 2019”. The selection process focuses on prior investment exits and the progress of investments yet to be exited in the past five years (January 1, 2015 to October 31, 2019).
On December 18th 2019, China Renaissance published the “VC·PE Annual Influential Investor List 2019”. Wing Hu, Partner at Gobi Partners China, received the “Outstanding Young VC Investor of the Year 2019” award.
The Annual Influential Investor List is created by China Renaissance, using a systematic and data-driven approach. Data is the only standard used to recognise truly influential investors.
