i think it’d be cooler if you didn’t have those indefinite articles so like ‘my gender is a punchline | my gender is a wedge issue’ would become ‘my gender is punchline| my gender is wedge issue.’

that way each line would more directly reference on the sorta nominal ‘my gender is male/female/etc’ formula and be more forceful without changing the meaning of the piece as a whole.

just my thoughts, maybe i’m being a jerk though. i do think it’s a really cool poem, i’m not raggin’ on it.
