The FG can only subsidize food by providing incentives to farmers and not buying up farm produce. Also providing the enabling environment through security, mechanized machinery import tax holiday, provide seed funds for farmers among others. Unfortunately the Buhari Govt does not have the capacity to continue the world class Agricultural revolution and reforms initiated by the last Administration.
