“What Do You Do?”

“What do you do?” Is the worst question anyone on the planet could ever ask anyone.

And frankly, it’s not even close.

It’s just so loaded and people utter it out of their gobs without even thinking.

It’s a default question in uncomfortable social engagements.

An NPC response that’s been programmed by game developers.

And if the world of humanity is going to change, this question needs to be eradicated from societal conventions.

When you truly dissect the question, you’re not asking what people “do”.

You’re really asking what role the other person is playing.

What’s the game you’re playing in this life?

What do you do to mask yourself from the rest of the world?

What do you do to earn a living so you don’t starve?

What’s your role in the society?
