Why You Should Sign Up For Wise

It’s Made My Life So Much Easier…

I don’t know about you, but I’m not the biggest fan of banks.

I remember back in 2016, when I used to buy Bitcoin to spend on the Dark Net, having my bank account closed down constantly because of “suspicious activity”.

Although these closures were completely warranted (I was being supremely suspicious), it was still a massive pain in the ass.

Now, I don’t spend money on the same things I used to (thank God!), but I do have a much easier time spending it with my Wise card.

Ever since monetising my Medium account, I’ve been using Wise as the platform to store my money.

And I’ve had zero problems.

But enough about me, let’s talk about you.

And more specifically, what you can gain from signing up with Wise.

Here’s why you should choose Wise over mainstream banks:

1. Transparent and Low Fees

One of the standout features of Wise is its commitment to transparency.

They don’t mess you around like conventional banks who love to sneak in hidden fees that take you by surprise.

2. Non-Scammy Exchange Rates

Tired of losing money on unfavorable exchange rates?

Wise lets you bypass the traditional banking system’s exorbitant fees by offering real exchange rates.

Take me for example.

I live in Istanbul.

But my conventional bank is based in Britain.

If I was to go around only using my Virgin Money card, I’d go bankrupt.

The transaction fees would literally eat me alive.

But with Wise, I don’t have that.

Every time I pay for something here, the currency exchange is instantly applied and I’m not being mugged off by some greedy third party.

That’s why I always move my money from my main bank account into my Wise account.

It just makes living in a foreign country infinitely easier.

If you travel a lot, you’re missing out by not having a Wise card.

Unless you’re made of money and have Scrooge McDuck levels of wealth, you need to get one now.

This also applies to business.

If you run a marketing agency that serves clients in different countries, it doesn’t make sense to transfer money using conventional methods.

You’re much better off having all of it enter your Wise account.

It makes the process much faster and is super simple to use.

3. Borderless Accounts

I don’t know about you, but I love borders.

There’s nothing better than a big old border to keep the orcs at bay and the castle secured.

But when it comes to money, borders are a b*tch.

I have ambitions of doing business everywhere.

Not just in my local town in the Scottish Highlands.

Not just in the hustling city of Constantinople.

I want to be sending and receving money everywhere.

In this scenario, borders must be abolished.

And luckily for us, Wise makes that blissful dream a reality.

If I wanted to, I could send a dude in Zimbabwe $1000 in seconds.

Conversely, a man in Afghanistan in turn can send me $5000 without breaking a sweat.

Wise makes this magical world of borderless money possible.

4. Multi-Currency Debit Card

As I previously mentioned, I live in Istanbul.

But as a Brit, I tend to earn my mullah in British pounds.

I also like spending time vacationing in Europe while also charging people in US dollars.

As a result, my range of currencies is massive.

I need to have a diverse platform which allows me to have multi-currency debit cards.

And this is exactly what Wise does for me.

Now whenever I’m spending money abroad, I can do it without giving up an arm and a leg in transaction fees.

It’s the cheatcode all gamers would dream of having.

And you can have it right now.

Just click here and sign up.

5. It’s So Easy To Sign-Up

I’ve been shilling my link throughout this article, so I may as well give you a rundown of what to expect.

When you click one of the links I’ve littered throughout this article, you’ll be taken to a landing page that would give a web designer a wet dream.

The page says:

“Finlay (that’s me) has gifted you a free debit card”

It then gives you some benefits of having a card (which I’ve already covered) and has a small opt-in box where you put your email.

That’s it.

You can check it out for yourself here.

Now for some transparency.

I am an affiliate.

Everyone who signs up to Wise is a potential affiliate.

However, I’m not making anything from you signing up to Wise.

And besides, I wouldn’t be promoting it if I didn’t use it and like it.

The reason I’m doing this is because I want to pay homage to the company which has taken good care of my money.

I know they’ll do the same with yours.

To conclude this article of excellence, you should sign up for Wise.

Obviously I’d love it if you used my link.

But if you don’t, there’s no hard feelings.

I’ll be glad if you sign up for the card with or without my link.

Just know that if you are using my link, you’ll be helping me out.

You don’t know Wise.

But you do know me.

And if you know me well enough to support my work here on Medium, there’s no reason why you can’t support my other endeavours.

Anyway, I’ll leave you with the link one more time.

And sign off.

Thanks for reading,

Godfrey
