Go the extra mile. Always.

Designing a good product is about iteration.

The only thing that’s constant is change.

Design is not art that you did once and it’s out there to sell itself. It’s not a shop talent that you put into one object after the other and it goes out of the shop to make the money drawer heavier by day.

Been 4 years and 8 odd months since I started my professional career. Ever since, I have always wanted to have a car. It’s not surprising for people in my age group to aspire for a good car. Last year, I gifted my dad his first car, a Hyundai Grand i10 Asta. The feeling I had after looking at my parent’s face — simply priceless.

This month, I moved to Mumbai and my first wish was to upgrade my…

This is going to be a super-short post. I’m about 11Kms above the surface as I’m (I was) writing this. Today, I’m shifting to Mumbai after being in Bangalore (or, Bengaluru) for year. This is where I started my career after college and it feels great to be back. I always was fond of the super-fast paced life here, the welcoming nature of the people, the good food, friends and the energy.

Joining a Gym was one of the best decisions in my life

Ever since I moved to Bangalore, I wanted to reboot my life routine. I have to admit that I was heavily inspired by Dexter (the TV series). He woke up every morning, prepare breakfast for himself, leave for work and usually come back to killing people. It was a strict routine and very organized.

What is it about

This is a post about hiring and not a typical Medium post about design, life or why you should do 100 other things in life and not date a travelling girl.

Talking about hiring is important! It is more important than the mechanical posts you see everyday on Naukri, Facebook groups and…

Journey > Goal

Work, life and how the journey shapes you.

Couple of weeks ago when I was having a casual evening catchup with my friends from my past companies… both of them brought up a common question — why do you still blog/ talk about your past experiences on Medium or Twitter?

The answer is very simple: all of them shaped me to what I…

Why so many Facebook design groups are not helping.

Until last week I was in about 20+ design community groups (local and global) on Facebook. By local, I mean specific to India. As of today, it’s just 3. I’ll probably get rid of these 3 too once I’ve set up my feed for local design/ startup updates. The reason being I, personally, never benefited from them and I’d rather keep my…
