Graduating Thoughts

Throughout the ebbs and flows of existence,
We encounter all walks of life;
Some relationships blossom regardless of distance,
But others end in strife.

What is life without some art,
Of music, dance, and visual wonder;
To live in a world devoid of this heart,
Would tear my soul asunder.

Now I have time to introspect,
Such time to do so is liberating;
And then it hits me when I least expect:
“I’m actually, really graduating.”
