Who controls the past…

When we think about the Nineteen Eighty-four, we generally only focus on the Surveillance State. An unblinking eye, watching our every step. It has already happened.

But there is another face: The State is now reinventing the past according to the realpolitik on a daily basis. The Leviathan changes the past with blatant lies and alternative-facts to command the future.

This second face is currently unfolding. Not just in the US, but in all the world. What was black yesterday is white today. What was good today will be bad tomorrow. You can not trust your memory, let alone your judgement. The State unhinges your very sanity.

The future will be darker. The implications will be worse than the Surveillance State.
