The Bible says that God is love and also we love because He first loved us. The Bible uses the Greek word "agape" to describe Gods love. It is His unconditional love. We can love because He first loved us. When you know the characteristics of God, you know His love and you know Him. You can only really know Him by spending time with Him in His word. His perfect live will cast out all fear because you know all about him and how faithful He is. The Bible is our love letter from God. Would you put a love letter on the shelf to collect dust. No, you would read it a least daily. You would cherish it with your whole heart. You would dissect every word to know how much that person loved you. No one could ever talk you out of how much they loved you. That is why we need to read the Bible. We need to know His love. Love you all. Butch
