Here are some things that I learned through my first month on Twitter

I saw a lot of people who blamed China or the Communist Party of China (CPC or commonly referred to CCP in western media) for spreading COVID19 and covering up the truth. They imagined how Dr. Li Wenliang was suppressed and killed, how China bought WHO and faked their number…

Analogy on the objective-subjective view of affordance

Imagine a simple piece of code with some objects. #!/bin/some_language import object class monkey(object){ # do monkey initialization } class banana(object){ # do banana initialization } class tree(object){ # do tree initialization } class crocodile(object){ # do crocodile initialization } # etc. There are two ways to describe the relationships…

Second, the spatula is not sharp enough and the motors are not fast enough to cut flesh. Moreover, it is far from perfect for taking over all of the cake-cutting jobs.

“I have come to tell you the Truth.”

A week ago, two evangelists came to my door and asked if I believed in God. I said no, just to see what they would say to convince me. I think that was a bad decision as that cu …

酷仙之冬季度海

云舟泊落日 浪梯踏天堂 咏月弹烟丝 斟风醉雪洋 This poem reflects a person’s optimistic spirit for life and boundless creativity even when facing hardship. His imaginations of cloud reflections as boats berthing the setting sun, and waves forming stairs to the heavens, are far different than the reality of his journey of crossing a winter sea. Potentially, he might be stuck with nothing, but he still can sing about the moon, play strings formed by vapour and pour wind as wine.
