What I learned from this video
I have learned multiple things from this video which I feel other people who have trouble finding their ability or inspiration to find joy in life should instill. One, that it is indeed the denial of ones own effects on the reality that causes suffering both emotionally and by causing blockages to retrieving the information or vision necessary to bring light to what is being denied. When one simply as the video states realizes that one is responsible for whatever is occuring in their own life and that a simple change of mind of becoming humble to ones own mistakes and allowing them to “sink in” actually allows power back into ones life and sometimes removes the problem entirely. Many actually cry when that feeling of acceptance is realized depending on the traumas being denied. But it is not inherently understood why this works until one very important ideal is understood. The order of reality is organized in a specific way whereas it is first the source before it is creation. Meaning an individual could not exist without the circumstances previous to the individual and that nothing an individual creates (circumstances, people, ideas) can ever really change or cause harm to the creator, unless it is allowed, because then the creations wouldn't exist in the first place. Meaning to just sit back and see honestly whatever is perceived as a “problem” which keeps you from living in joy while understanding that that “problem” wouldn’t even exist without you and in effect everything before you creates space between the problem and oneself, space to see and remember the real you which exists in various and vast ways which is us when we were children and even before. Before the ideas even existed in our minds that a “problem” or at least our negative reactions to a problem can even exist, that space or idea can’t really disappear as it is the only reason we are here now. One must realize that space can be tapped into at any time and is highly individualized to each individual therefore unreachable by others and further proves that only an individual can be responsible for their own “problems” and creations.
One last important thing I have learned is that this planet was originally created for us (humans and animals included) to have fun. And even if thats not true and we are only evolved out of dust, wouldn’t it still make sense to base our actions and intentions on joy through freedom anyway? When you make an effort to align your intentions with whatever causes the most “joy” for you, the real you which includes both the vastness of the past and uncertainty of the future along with whatever and whoever is specifically involved on the timeline then power is restored and suffering is no longer important. It’s like people are afraid of trying new things or even imagining or thinking about whats truly appealing to oneself. Whats truly appealing to ones self, at least basically, is exercising, eating healthy, and looking good. So whats so difficult about that? Can one not also throw there own spin on these things? What about having super powers, or epic battles between good and evil, is all that not appealing enough to go through the stages of learning and development to realize how that could potentially be possible? What about being able to sit in complete and utter silence for extended periods of time, can one do that? Of course theres danger out there in the world but when one realizes and meditates on what it would like to die, one realizes that they are in a much better off spot now being concious to do what one needs and wants to do, not when one is dead. From that realization comes the motivation to be able to do great things with ones life while they are still alive. When death is no longer an option in ones mind, only then can one find the knowledge and strength to build or do whatver is to be done. From death the seed of life is planted and further more roots give way to a tree.
