Building wealth through assets

Years of watching the media glamourize the possession of cash has led many to believe fiat currency is wealth. This has left the ordinary person ‘chasing the paper’ as they say, whilst the wealthy minority accumulate the real money. Assets! Looking at various online articles, there is always a common opinion on how people invest. The few wealthy people seem to invest in either property or gold. This is because the value of assets is not volatile like cash. For those that wonder about generational wealth, this is the answer to your question. Observe how the rich accumulate assets that can they pass from generation to generation.

Now there are challenges in gaining assets like mobility, legal compliance or b limitations by one’s jurisdiction. This is why pairing the value of the assets with the mobility, efficiency and transparency of blockchain has created what I’d like to name ‘Super Money’: Digital assets! Through cryptocurrency, digital assets are now a way to divide, share and trade assets on a global scale with ease.

Asset-backed cryptocurrencies are ideas derived from investments made by the wealthy minority. If they strive to accumulate assets then why shouldn’t the ordinary person do the same? For example, the GMA token is backed by a gold production operation. Also, GMA token holders will receive a quarterly 5% net profit royalty. Think about it. What would stop a small time investor from capitalising on an opportunity that requires a minimum investment of 0.1 Ether? Nothing! Imagine how difficult it is to enter the gold mining sector as a small investor. If Goldma was conducting an IPO, normally, only accredited investors could partake. Now, how many people meet those requirements? How many people are millionaires?

It is important to understand the concept of asset-backed cryptocurrencies. It is not a new idea at all. This is what wealthy people have been doing for centuries to ensure wealth continuity. The only thing FinTech fanatics did was simplify the process of investing in assets for the ordinary people that the wealthy often outbid. Never fool yourself into thinking cash is a store of value that will create generational wealth. If the system discriminates you out of preference for the ‘Rich Gang’ and you can’t access asset-investment opportunities, then try digital assets, you won’t be sorry.
