It is Golfcoin’s recommendation, any users or companies choosing to trade on or work with Bitker’s exchange use extreme caution with depositing funds due to the suspected safety and business practices of the exchange. Numerous reports have come out recently of users and projects unable to access funds, among other issues.
The experience with Bitker’s exchange is as follows: After the large listing fee was paid for Golfcoin to be added, the team was forced to use a market making bot to keep exchange volume up for Bitker in order to remain listed. The Golfcoin team decided against remaining listed with this contingency. Market making, a practice used to inflate volume and attract buyers made it appear that much of Bitker’s volume was made this way.
Golfcoin(GOLF) wallets were then disconnected without warning leaving members with significant Golfcoin remaining on Bitker’s exchange. After months of contacting over a dozen team members on Bitker customer support, Telegram, and Twitter, the Bitker team has refused to give a time the wallets will be re-opened or let members know if the funds are safe.
We’ll be happy to thank the Bitker team if they provide access and funds are able to be withdrawn without impedance.
