Here’s why the next 100 years will be awesome

You probably think the last 100 years were amazing. The discovery of antibiotics, inventions like the computer and the internet, Usain Bolt crushing the 100m world record :)

But the next 100 will totally blow your mind!

Here’s five awesome things that could happen:

1) First humans living on Mars — Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are working towards this goal, so we probably can expect it sooner rather than later

2) Nanotech machines in our blood, analysing what’s going on with our bodies and making sure we are always in great health — companies such as Google have a project looking into this

3) Being able to move objects and connect to the internet directly with our brains — newsflash, the former is already possible…

4) Self-driving cars — with so many hugely smart people working on this, I’d expect someone to soon “crack the code”

5) (Safe) Artificial Intelligence — it would be awesome to have super smart machines, and even more awesome if they liked us humans; and truth be told, machines are learning and getting smarter every day…

The most incredible things to happen in the next 100 years will probably be totally unexpected. And that’s why it would be so cool to still be around to see them! Especially with the pace of innovation speeding up.
