I Don’t Think Sears Is Gonna Gave Me Back My 1327 Dollars in Refund 3 Months After Returning My Dryer
I tried ordering 2 washers and 1 dryer over the phone on May 31, 2017. The customer service lady took the wrong order and made an order of only 1 washer and 2 dryers. When the items were delivered, I noticed the mistake and told the deliverymen to take back the extra dryer.
On June 2, I called Sears to make sure they received the returned item, and they gave me some sorta of confirmation email (which turned to be a piece of crap, as it doesn’t have a confirmation number):

About 1 month after the delivery men took back the dryer, I still had not receive any refund from Sears and decided to have my bank, Chase, dispute the charge of 1327.49 dollar. Here is my email order confirmation of the 2 dryer (1 of which was ordered by mistake):

Fast forward to yesterday, almost 3 months after the delivery men took back the dryer, I received a letter from Chase, telling me that Sears has denied the refund. Chase asked me to provide further evidence that I have returned the dryer.
I think I will file a police report, but I don’t think I will get anything and probably have to Sears 1327 dollars for something I don’t even have.
