“When you’re a Star, They let you do it!”
Trump is still here and still degrading women.
The Washington Post recently posted a video of presidential candidate Donald Trump speaking to Today show host Billy Bush about a woman.
Lewd comments were made. And now many are demanding remorse.
Most have taken to social media to express their concern to Mr. Trump about his comments.
Hillary Clinton took to twitter to showcase her own views and comments on what Trump has said.
Other such as John McCain have taken more serious measures such as withdrawing support. His full statement can be read here. He writes in this statement ““As I said yesterday, there are no excuses for Donald Trump’s offensive and demeaning comments in the just released video; no woman should ever be victimized by this kind of inappropriate behavior. He alone bears the burden of his conduct and alone should suffer the consequences.”
Celebrities have also gone on to comment on Trump’s behavior.
Samuel L. Jackson and Robert DeNiro are among some of the celebrities who have commented on Twitter about it.
Trump has since posted a video apologizing, which can be seen on his twitter page. He apologizes and says “I’ve said and done things I regret” and goes on to speak about how he is “not a perfect person nor is claiming to be someone he is not.” Further into this video apology, he calls his mistakes “a distraction from the important issues.” He then goes on the bash Hillary and Bill Clinton and claims more will come of it in the coming days.
