An attempt to change the capital market
Origin:
Inspired by a gambling game from Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s 1996 manga ‘Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji’, based on Rock-Paper-Scissors.
This is a fascinating game of strategy. The mathematical model abstracted from this game’s rules is what we call the “Fukumoto Model.” This model is the soul of our project and our original creation.
We define the “Fukumoto Model” as follows: within a defined time-space, it uses three mutually constraining elements — ABC — to create a dynamic balance in non-cooperative scenarios, ensuring random and uncontrollable outcomes.
The Fukumoto Model has three main features:
Fairness: Here, everyone is equal, merely a character without the interference of background or finances.
Transparency: All players in the game have access to the same information.
Non-manipulability: The outcome of the game depends solely on your and your opponent’s choices at the time, with no third party able to alter it.
The current capital market is constantly plagued with opacity, inefficiency, and backroom dealings, drawing significant criticism from investors.
The Fukumoto Model won’t make decisions for you, but its core value lies in offering a universally accepted, transparent, fair, and unmanipulable mechanism in an environment of mutual distrust. This helps us establish order or make a choice. The more complex the environment and the more people involved, the more the Fukumoto Model proves its worth. It greatly underscores procedural justice, breaking the existing patterns of capital monopolies and opaque operations. Particularly in random allocation scenarios, like coin distribution, whitelist allocation, and resolving disputes in DAO governance, it provides a solution that’s transparent, fair, efficient, and trustworthy.
