Ex-Pop MTL This Thursday
Experimental Pop acts are set to take over Nomad Live on September 1st
Goodvibepeople and Kickdrum, seasoned event planners in the independent music scene in Montreal have joined forces once again to put on their latest showcase. Seven acts across two stages will populate Nomad Live tomorrow, with a variety of local acts as well as bands from Ontario linking up for what is expected to be a solid evening.
Pony Girl is on their first leg of their fall Canada-wide tour. The band signed to So Sorry records will be joining the solid lineup as they stop by Montreal to kick a few tunes at Ex-Pop Montreal. Playing songs off of their album Foreign Life, they are set to give out a highly melodic performance.
Joining them will be Saxsyndrum, a live electronic duo with a distinct dreamy sound sure to make for an enticing performance. Local Montreal-based band Raveen will also be joining the party with a more dark twist, highly infused with synths and incorporating electronic sounds and vocals.
Last but not least on the main stage will be Pallice, a female led band making a name for themselves in the Experimental Pop genre.
Should the weather permit, the evening will also hold performances outside on the terrace with acts such as Minas, DF and Adrian Asher. The doors open at 8 with the first acts starting off at 9PM. Address is 129 Van Horne and tickets are 10$
