The Morality of Surge Pricing

If you can not afford surge pricing, take the subway. If you felt your life was in danger you would probably feel that a $50 (verses $5) ride would be suddenly affordable.

Some might argue that everyone should pay the same price even if they lived farther away. The subway uses this model.

Those that wanted non-surge prices only needed to call a taxi. Ha Ha! How well did that work?
