When it comes to using technology, the School of 2050 should look a lot like the offices of the present.
The Classroom Will Look Exactly the Same
Matt Gross

I generally agree that we should be taking cues from what is happening in professional office settings as we think about how we work with students in classrooms. However, I think school in 2050 should look like the offices of 2050 rather than offices of the present. Two trends I see playing out between now and 2050 are that offices are increasingly driven by technology and the people in offices are increasingly expected have basic coding skills. We should ensure as we design classrooms for the next few decades that we recognize those trends and prepare students for the work of 2050.
