Jimi Hendrix Experience — BBC Session 1967 — Nights At The Roundtable: Session Edition
Jimi Hendrix w/Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell — 1967 was an astonishing year for music.
I originally posted this several years ago, but it’s no longer available, and a reader asked if I still had it, so I thought I would re-post it for all of you who missed it the first time around.
A great session from an artist who took the entire world by storm — and who changed the playing field almost overnight.
Hendrix fans have probably heard this session and most likely have it in their own collections. But if you’re just getting acquainted with Jimi Hendrix and want to hear more — have a listen to this session (along with the large quantity of live material currently floating around) for a taste of one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
I don’t have to prompt you to play this loud — you already know.
And while you’re doing that, please make your Tax Deductible Contribution to Past Daily’s Fall Fundraiser so we can keep offering you all these rarities and the thousands more waiting.
