A historic recital this week, by way of Radio Canada’s Transcription Service. Legendary Pianist Vlado Perlemuter at the 1964 Jeunesses Musicales at Mt. Orford, Quebec plays music of Faurè, Ravel and Debussy, as well as encores by Chopin.

I ran this post a few years ago via another site, but the sound wasn’t very good. If you heard it at the time, here is a better sounding version. If you’re new to this, it’s a lovely recital by one of the great exponents of French Piano music of the 20th century.
