Hitting the Gym

Today I had two workouts on the books: 1) a 2–4 mile form run and 2) an hour agility/proprioception workout at GlideTC. I skipped the run today; woke up a little fatigued, knees feeling a bit tender. My thought was is if I was feeling it, I would try the run later in the day (which didn’t happen) or just save that energy to try and make Thursday’s workout stick (skipped it last week).

I rode on over to GlideTC for a hour of jumping, hopping, bouncing and sweating. I don’t think I will end up feeling as destroyed after this session — we’ll see tomorrow.

On the ride home, I took the long way through Mission Hills and around Mission Bay. Tired, but it felt good to spin the legs.

I’ve been feeling a slight twinge in my left soleus; keeping an eye on that. For good measure I iced my left calf and both knees while watching some Olympics this evening.
