Initial access is extremely limited — the Pixel 8 Pro has a basic version for recordings and WhatsApp, while Bard uses Gemini Pro to improve some conversations. Wider access isn’t expected soon as Google prioritizes safety, performance improvements, and reviews before full rollout.
Previews should expand in 2024 with Bard Advanced conversations and maybe search integration. But responsible development means most consumers wait years to benefit from Gemini’s talents, even as early launches indicate the tech is nearing real-world readiness.
