#COLORWAR 2016 Roundup

After a week’s worth of awesome design submissions, we’ve chosen our finalists for the Main Event at Bitcamp!

COLORWAR features fast-paced design challenges for our Bitcamp participants and community to get their creative juices flowing. We asked people to create a visual with their interpretation of this year’s theme, Explore New Grounds. The submissions were phenomenal, ranging from hand-lettering to punny photos to vector-based illustrations. These visuals were submitted on Twitter — you can explore them with #COLORWAR. Our awesome judges, Zvi Band, CEO and co-founder at Contactually, Raksa Yin, visual designer at Huge Inc, Michael Vinkler, director at HDR Inc, and Jacqueline Chen, design lead for Technica and the COLORWAR 2014 winner, will pick the final winner.

Five contestants are advancing to the Main Event at Bitcamp on April 9, where they’ll compete through five rounds of knockout design challenges for graphic tablets, Copic markers, and more. They were selected for their creative conceptualization and visual talent.

Everyone!

Thanks for participating! The team had a great time going through everyone’s submissions and we loved seeing all of the different interpretations of Explore New Grounds. Kudos to those who were exploring with design for the first time. Bitcamp is all about exploration, and there are still so many new grounds to discover. See you by the campfire!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
