From Javascript to Swift
Eshwaren M

This is exactly how I felt when I tried swift some months ago. “it felt like proper development”. I do JavaScript every day as part of my work but The fragmented JavaScript space sometimes feels hacky and opinions on how to do things are so different and people supporting those opinions are so strong minded that it’s sometimes tiring. Most of the libraries are written by hobbyists and that definitely isn’t helping. Proof that you need an actual company behind a library or a project in order to give it the maturity a production environment needs: look how the JavaScript space got attention when Google and Facebook started backing their own frameworks.
