We all go through days where our inner Monica from F.R.I.E.N.D.S, shouts out loud:

Not just clean, Monica Clean”

Let us picture this:

The mess around your favourite leather recliner spot has become unbearable and you want it to be spotless like new. If you are looking for some great tips and hacks, you do not need to feel lost. Get on your cleaning apron, pick up the broom and quickly dive into the cleaning zone with these 5 hacks and tips:

1. Clean! Clean! Clean!

Believe it or not, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”

Leather is a soft and sensitive material but it doesn’t need a lot of your attention. Just dust off small food or any kind of debris when you sit in your favourite spot. Clean it frequently to keep away the dust from settling deep for a greater lifespan.

2. Easy-Breezy Vacuuming:

Just when you feel the superpower of cleanliness beaming in you, get your vacuum cleaner and clean the surface of the leather. Attach a thin head accessory to the vacuum cleaner hose, so that you can easily get into difficult areas.

3. Home-Made is the Best Aid:

Sounds like a herculean task? Every time we think of doing it, our cute little annoying lazy bum kicks in. But, you do not need to go out of your way and create some new Sherlock solution.

For general leather cleaning, use a moisturizing soap that does not dry the leather too much or mix one part white vinegar with two parts linseed oil, shake well, and apply to the leather using a soft cloth. Start to wipe the leather couch on the backrest and then move to the bottom. Wash the cloth in the solution of water and vinegar at a certain range. Squeeze it well, to avoid wetting the couch. You may need to buff once more before sitting on the furniture. Be sure to remove all traces of soap on the surface of the material.

4. Dry well to not Cry:

Keeping the leather dry is one of the most important steps. Use a completely dry towel preferably made of a material that does not leave behind lint. Avoid using a hairdryer as it can dehydrate the skin too much and damage the leather over time.

5. Shine bright like a Diamond:

Sing that song out loud and keep the shine of your leather recliner intact. Use vinegar+ linseed oil and a soft cloth to dab in the solution. Apply the solution gently on the sofa and move it in small circular movements. Leave it overnight to absorb it well. Next day wipe with a dry cloth to remove any excess oil to give the look of natural lustre.

So, If you are happy and you know, don’t just clap your hands this time.

Use these handy tips and keep enjoying your favourite sofa spot. Just in case, your leather has already withered and it is too late for now. Do not worry! Rent Leather Recliner from us and keep these tips in mind for the next time.

It is sure going to be a Rec-laxing time.
