My Adventures in Southern Utah
Recently I visited my grandparents in Duck Creek Village, Utah.
July 13th
Early in the morning (roughly 10am) we began our long drive to Duck Creek.

This is a picture from the day we arrived. Mac was enjoying Grandma’s cuddles. At first Grandma was reluctant to let Mac in her camper, but she eventually gave in. Mac liked Grandma’s hugs but he wanted to be outside and explore the campground.

I took Mac for a walk and he found this little boy. Grandma and Pop Pop had put him up so that people would drive slowly. There are lots of kids at the campground, but people drive insanely fast.

On the road to our next destination, Bryce Canyon, the scenery was very pretty. The rocks looked like something out of a Wile E Coyote cartoon.

We got into the park and it was geology festival! I learned a lot about dinosaurs and fossils.

I even got a sick tat of my favorite fossil, the trilobite! Or as my mom calls it, a cockroach.

After about 15 minutes of waiting for everyone (My mom and Wyatt) to get done in the gift shop, we finally made it to the canyon. It was very pretty and I liked the colors.

We began on our day hike; the 1.3 mile long Navajo Loop trail. Pictured is a selfie of me taking a selfie of my dad taking a selfie of himself.

Here is a picture of my very cool mom. She definitely did not ask me to talk about how amazing she is in my blog.

An up close picture of the hoodoos. By the time I took this picture I was very far ahead of my family.
I was on a mission to finish the hike. It was really hard on my lungs to go up the switchbacks at such a high elevation.

Here is the canyon from a different point of view.
Overall I give my Bryce Canyon experience a 9/10.

I cuddled with Mac for a while.

After that, Pop Pop had me come with him to watch him work. He explained how the sewer lift system works, and I really wish I understood enough to tell you.

We chilled and I helped Grandma clean. You’d be surprised how much toilet paper people use. The bathrooms were such a mess and I wish people would realize that somebody will have to clean their messes.

I had an AMAZING sushi burrito! I went to Sushi Burrito #5 in Cedar City. I ordered the salmon bomb and I devoured it.

I took Mac for a walk and it started raining. Mac was crying because he doesn’t like to get wet. Poor Mac.

Then, he went crazy and tried to dig holes in the floor (if you have a dog you’ll know what I mean).

The entire squad decided to go on an adventure for Grandma’s 40th birthday.

We went to the ice cave and everyone but Grandma went in. Grandma totally could have made it down. That’s what water aerobics was preparing her for.

Next we went up to Brian Head peak. It was an amazing view until…

It started hailing!! Some pieces were nickel sized.

My hero came to the rescue. ❤
