Interesting stuff. I read a book long ago called The Goddess vs. The Alphabet, where the author, Shlain, theorized that we lived in matriarchal goddess worshipping societies until the creation of writing, which altered our brains to value left-brained usage of symbols vs. the right brain. Even today, IQ tests are primarily based on measurable statistics such as spacial and math abilities as opposed to the less-valued abilities of “emotional intelligence.” I don’t love that phrase but I’ll use it for simplicity. That EQ (which I possess much more of) is vitally important in politics, society, including the sciences.

On the topic of hierarchies, you must already know that psychologist/philosopher Jordan Peterson has written and discussed the theory a lot, claiming that hierarchies in humankind are as old as trees. Here’s short video where he talks about them, agreeing that they lend towards abuse and that must be shored in. Personally I can’t imagine any kind of group formation without hierarchies. I recently had a discussion with a young niece who think she’s an anarchist. She believes that we could all inhabit land and that somehow no one would try to create an order. I disagreed, although I suppose if there were enough resources and space for everyone it wouldn’t be necessary for any one group to dominate.
