DAY 1: Budapest, Hungary.

Wee landed in Budapest at 1:50 pm. I had not slept in about 24 hours. I was ready to explore a country i have never seen before. The first thing was to meet the group from the other states. We got to meet the group from New Jersey first. They were nice but disappointing enough, they didn't have jersey accents. We stood outside for about 30 minutes. Thinking we were waiting for the Georgia group to arrive, we found out they were stuck in Paris. Of all places though, who wouldn't want to be stuck in Paris. The rest of us decided to not waist our time and go check in to the hotel. Once we got to the hotel we all got assigned our rooms and roommates nd we headed up the stairs. My roommate was Kenzie, she was so fun to get to met and hang out with. After our stuff was put away we headed back down the stairs where the bus waited for us. Our bus driver was the nicest person ever. He was so funny and talked to everyone. Now we met our tour guide and he was so funny. He kept everything so interesting and had such a great style. I knew this trip was gong to be amazing. Next we headed to the city center in Budapest. What i saw next was incredible.

I was surrounded my old buildings that were beautiful. Everywhere you turned there was something beautiful to see. Whether its a statue, just an old building, cathedral, or palace. It was amazing i couldn't believe what i was seeing. It didn't feel real. We shopped around and took some tours just exploring the city. Once it was dinner time we left. We went to eat at Veranda. It was really good. First they served us soup with lots of veggies in it. Then for the main entrée they served us chicken and potatoes with and amazing sauce to cover them. The dinner later ended and it was time to go back to the hotel. Once we got back everyone wanted to unpack and shower. So we headed to our rooms and waited for our next day in this beautiful country.
