De-skilling Teaching
Graham Brown-Martin

I agree that contextualizing a learner is a far broader task than what out computers are able to do yet. A learner has unique preconditions and insecurities that build the type of student they are today. I doubt computer systems have enough data stored for them to find those preconditions and treat them accurately.

However, I do think that every step is a stone towards that day and it’s up to the industry professionals to maintain confidence and morals. Misconstrued behaviors and misguided values like 'keeping up appearances’ are detrimental to the collection of data while this merge is beginning.
