If I die before you know

If I die before you know

When I am upset

or lost or just empty I eat eggs..boiled whites with pepper, one after another until I can’t feel my fingertips and the pile of yolks is as large as the hen who laid them.

When I dream

you are there with me but you are rarely you; you are a child. You are a dozen eggs. You break in my hands and all of you comes running out…over my wrists and onto the floor of the supermarket.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
