Alan Kay on How Many Books You Can Read in a Lifetime

I sometimes chastize myself for the amount of time I spend reading so this was a good article for me to read and contemplate. I welcome further exploration of the Adler quote as Ithink that really is the crux of it for me. I read a lot and I keep a fairly accurate record of books read but ask me in a year what was the take away from a certain book and I likely can’t do more than summarize my primary impression. I’d like to be able to synthesize the books I read and take more from them but I’m not sure how to make that happen.

Thanks for a thoughtful post.
