For some reason there’s this weird dichotomy in perception where if you have a comp sci degree you can’t understand users, and if you have a design degree you can’t understand computers

I’ve experienced this perception from those who mainly have hands on experience in just one of the two disciplines (CS/design) in isolation, but more importantly are also closed to the idea of the ability to do both. I don’t understand why that is, but when you get a group of people sharing this mentality, it unfortunately creates another invisible wall.
